SLS PK (polyketone) is an engineering-grade thermoplastic processed via selective laser sintering. Known for its toughness and resistance to fuels, oils, and other hydrocarbons, PK offers stable mechanical properties even in chemically demanding environments. Compared to polyamides, it absorbs significantly less moisture, making it ideal for applications where dimensional stability is critical. In its standard finish, SLS PK parts feature a matte white to off-white color with a slightly grainy surface typical of the process. The combination of durability, chemical resistance, and low moisture uptake makes SLS PK well-suited for functional prototypes and end-use parts in automotive, chemical processing, and industrial equipment.
