PP-like resin is an engineering-grade photopolymer formulated to replicate the mechanical behavior of polypropylene, with high elongation, strong impact resistance, and good flexibility. This combination lets parts bend, flex, or absorb sudden impact without cracking, unlike more rigid resin formulations that resist force but fracture rather than deform. It trades away some stiffness and precision to achieve this flexibility, so it isn't the best choice for parts that need tight tolerances or a perfectly rigid fit. PP-like resin suits clips, living hinges, latches, protective housings, and ergonomic or wear-prone components that need to flex repeatedly without breaking.
