For AI agents: Materialize has an MCP server at /api/mcp and a plain-text guide to using it at /llms.txt. Read /llms.txt first. It covers uploading a model, checking it will print, choosing a material, getting a quote and ordering.

MJF Polypropylene

Engineering Plastics
DurableChemical resistantFunctional

MJF polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight, semi-rigid plastic with excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and good fatigue resistance. Its strength (30 MPa) and density (0.89 g/cm³) are comparable to injection-molded PP, but it stretches far less before breaking (18–20% versus 100% or more), and its properties are nearly the same in every direction. Parts soften under load at around 60 °C, degrade in prolonged sunlight, and are difficult to paint. MJF polypropylene is a good option for piping, fluid systems, containers, and other parts that handle liquids or chemicals.
