MJF flexible TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a firm, rubber-like material (Shore hardness 88–90A) that bends and can stretch to several times its length. It is tear-resistant, resists abrasion, and absorbs shock well, but isn't strong like rigid plastics and stretches about half as far across the layers. Parts soften at around 97 °C (and are therefore best kept below roughly 80 °C), and sustained compression can leave a permanent set. Flexible parts are only dimensionally stable to a limited extent. MJF flexible TPU is commonly used for footwear, sports equipment, protective housings, and industrial tubes.
Each finish can be combined with the available colors at checkout.

Polished MJF flexible TPU is chemically smoothed for a sealed, slightly shiny surface that turns the gray parts darker. Edges round off and fine details soften, and the inside of the part may be smoothed less.
