PET CF filament is a carbon fiber-reinforced polyethylene terephthalate (PET) material designed for producing stiff, lightweight, and dimensionally stable FDM parts. By combining PET's chemical resistance and durability with chopped carbon fibers, the material delivers improved rigidity, reduced warping, and enhanced structural performance compared to standard PET or PETG. PET CF offers good layer adhesion, strong mechanical performance, and resistance to moisture and many chemicals. It is well suited for structural parts, jigs, fixtures, brackets, and lightweight mechanical components where stiffness and strength-to-weight ratio are priorities. Overall, PET CF filament is ideal for functional prototypes and end-use parts requiring increased stiffness, reduced warping, and improved dimensional stability compared to standard PET-based materials.
