Brass is good for jewelry and jewelry prototypes. When polished, brass is smooth and shiny and when unpolished, it is matte, rough, and antique in appearance. Brass tarnishes over time and may need to be polished. It is 3D printed in multiple steps. First, in high resolution wax. A mold of liquid plaster is made using the wax model, and afterwards it is injection-molded. Brass consists of 15% zinc, 5% tin, and 80% copper.
